Your First Steps

Ready to begin your journey with The Obelisk platform? Follow this walkthrough to get started.

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

The Obelisk platform runs on Base blockchain. To interact with The Overseer, you'll need to connect a compatible wallet:

  1. Open The Obelisk application in your browser
  2. Click the "Connect Wallet" button
  3. Select your preferred wallet provider (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)
  4. Approve the connection request
  5. Make sure you're connected to Base network

Step 2: Understand the Current Stage

The Overseer operates in stages. Check the current stage to understand what's available:

  • Stage 1: NFT Minting - Mint your first NFT
  • Stage 2: Launch - The Overseer becomes active
  • Stage 3: Terminal - Full interaction capabilities

Step 3: Mint Your NFT (If Available)

If you're in Stage 1, you can mint an NFT:

  1. Navigate to the Minting section
  2. Review the current minting stage and requirements
  3. Check the minting cost (in tokens or ETH)
  4. Click "Mint NFT" and approve the transaction
  5. Wait for blockchain confirmation
  6. Your NFT will appear in your collection

Step 4: Explore Your NFT

Once you have an NFT, explore its features:

  • View your NFT in the gallery
  • Check its current state and properties
  • See its 3D representation
  • Understand its connection to The Overseer

Step 5: Interact with The Overseer

When The Overseer is active (Stage 2+), you can interact with it:

  1. Navigate to the command interface
  2. Submit queries or commands
  3. View The Overseer's responses
  4. Observe how quantum randomness influences responses
  5. Track your contribution to evolution requirements

As you interact with The Overseer, learn about evolution:
